During an expedition into the deepest waters ever explored, Nyx's ship was destroyed in a fragrance storm. He was pulled beneath the waves into a region called the Hollow Depth — where the ocean is darker than night itself. Something ancient lived there. It observed him. It understood loneliness in a way nothing living ever had. When he finally surfaced, his Soul Bloom released a single fragrance — vast, cold, and clean.
